Race Overview:

Race History: The Valentine's Day 5K dates back to the 1980's when it was known as the "Serendipity Run". 1994 marked the race's first inclusion in the Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series.

Course Description: The race starts and finishes at Doc Bryan Hall on ATU Campus. Awards will be given for Overall Male and Female Finishers, Masters, Grand Masters and Seniors as well as male and female age divisions 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+

Sweetheart Competition: A special feature of the Valentine's Day 5K is the chance to team up with a sweetheart for additional prizes! Runners have the option of entering with their spouse in the Married Sweethearts Division, or teaming up with a "friend" in the Unmarried Sweethearts Division. The finishing times for the two Sweethearts will be added together to compete against other couples' composite times. The Sweetheart competition is in additional to the male/female individual races and does not affect an individual's time, placing, or award in the overall race.

 

**Register before 11:59p CST 2/6 to be guaranteed a shirt and medal. Same Day registration is available from 7:30-8:30a day of the race and will be $35 (cash, check or Cash App will be accepted)
