WELCOME ASSOCIATION OF FIREARM AND TOOL MARK EXAMINERS (AFTE) MEMBERS, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS!
AFTE’s 2026 annual training seminar will be held in Baltimore, Maryland. AFTE Baltimore is proud to host a Virtual 5K event as part of National Forensic Science Week 2025. This event is virtual, meaning that participation is self-paced and can be incorporated into your busy schedule! This is an opportunity for you and your colleagues to take a break from the lab setting and demanding casework load, to get out and stretch your legs, unwind, and celebrate your contributions as forensic science professionals (during work as a pre-approved team building exercise, wellness time, and/or National Forensic Science Week celebration, or after work!). Invite your family and friends to join you too!
Registration opens Sunday May 11th, 2025, and closes Saturday July 19th , 2025.
WHAT: Virtual 5K (3.1 miles) – your own race and pace with self-submitted timed results!
WHEN: National Forensic Science Week: Sunday September 14th – Saturday September 20th, 2025
WHERE: Anywhere!
HOW: Run, walk, speedwalk, or jog your mileage (or crab walk if you want to get in the Baltimore spirit! 😊)
FEES: $35
INCLUDED: An AFTE Baltimore Virtual 5K T-Shirt, Printable 5K Bib, and 5K Finisher Certificate
