LIVE MUSIC!: Guitars4Vets, a national nonprofit helping veterans with PTSD and other service-related trauma through music, will be playing and giving demonstrations at our event for 1 hour! Talented vocalist Heide Voglis will sing the National Anthem and the Harrisburg School District NJROTC will provide a color guard.
DRINKS: After 12PM, head down to the Harrisburg Beach Club and have drinks overlooking the Susquehanna River to enjoy the beautiful October day!

FREE Red t-shirt – only for 5k registrants. T-shirts & packets can be picked up at check-in, or the day before at Koons Park: 6030 Larue St, Linglestown, PA 17112 at Pavilion #1, on 10/18/25 from 2-7PM. After 9/19 t-shirt size cannot be guaranteed and are available on a first-come first-serve basis while supplies last! Update (10/15/25) We're running low!

* We're collecting food for the the Central PA Food Bank's "Military Share" program for veterans & families: Military Share Food Drive
*5k Path: The course starts at the train station on City Island, loops around City Island, crosses out via the pedestrian Walnut Street Bridge, continues along Front Street, turns around near the Front & Forster Street intersection, then returns the same way. All proceeds benefit the Dauphin County “Wills for Heroes” events run by Pennsylvania Bar Association, providing free wills and estate documents for veterans, first responders, and their families.
