    Race Overview:

    Fall 2025 First Strides Mentor Kick-off August 28

    First Strides session 11 weeks from September 4th through November 13 – Thursday evenings between 5:30 – 7pm

    Registration here is for Women that are interested in being a MENTOR for the beginning running and walking group during the above dates.

    Qualifications:

    • Heart of a teacher, nurse, caregiver, nurturer.
    • Willing to volunteer 1 1/2 hours+ weekly to share your talents and mentor participants.
    • Willing to volunteer with other volunteers.  Working collaboratively for the good of many.
    • Female

    Desired attributes:

    • Ability to stand/stride at least one hour at a time.
    • Have the time during these dates to be present at least 8-11 weeks.
    • Take directions and apply with common sense
    • Willingness to be silly and have a little fun
