Join Eat Share as we again celebrate food sharing in north central PA and fundraise towards our mission.
It's a race, a costume party, a celebration–with a little something for everyone!
FOR RUNNERS/WALKERS
- registration available online through October 1st: $25. Race Day Registration: $30.
- race day registration and sign-in 9:00am – 10:15am
- race t-shirts for all those who register by September 20th
- well drink tickets (soda & draft beer options) provided to all participants, redeemable at Watson Inn after party
- prizes for top male and female finishers in each age group
Race will start and finish on First Street beside the Watson Inn, starting at 10:30am. The course is a loop through the borough with an inclined section going up Fourth Street (with water station at the top this year!), around the cemetery (with a view of town), and down First Street. Race must be completed by 12pm. Water/Snack table available at finish line.
FOR SPECTATORS
- food themed attire/costumes ENCOURAGED for all–we will keep the party going with a live DJ and cheer on participants as they end the race
FOR EVERYONE
- prize available for best dressed food attire/costume
- raffle prizes available, starting at 9am
- lunch available for purchase at the Watson Inn after party
Support our food sharing mission by bringing non-expired, non-perishable food donations. Each item earns additional raffle entries for basket and gift card drawings during the after party. All food donated will be forwarded to the Watsontown Borough Food Pantry and the local Food Hub for community distribution.
