This event is open to the community. You do not have to be a BPS staff or student to participate.
The start and finish location of the race is:
Custer Stadium, Bartlesville High School (Shawnee Avenue, Bartlesville OK 74006)
Register by September 19th to be guaranteed for a shirt

Proceeds of this race benefit Bruins on the Run (an after school running and mentoring program for 5th graders). It also benefits the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation. The BPS Foundation covers the costs.

Wednesday, October 8th – Packet Pick-Up. 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. – BHS Agriculture Building on Shawnee Avenue
Saturday, October 11– Race Day Details
7:30 – 8:30 – Race day registration and packet pickup
9:00 a.m. – Start of 5k run
9:05 a.m. – Start of 1-mile fun run
5K Awards: Medals go to the top three male/female in standard age groups in 8K.

The proceeds of this race benefit the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation, including a District program the Foundation supports – Bruins on the Run. BOTR is an after school running and mentoring program for 5th graders. The Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation covers the costs of this program for students – race registrations, new running shoes, t-shirts and more. Bruins on the Run will be participating in this race along with a large number of Bartlesville Public Schools staff. The community is encouraged to come out and run, or at least cheer them on! Donations made to the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
