Third Annual Braille Trail Walk For Independence!

Join us on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 9:00 AM for the Braille Trail Walk benefiting Lions Services, a Charlotte-based nonprofit empowering blind and visually impaired adults. Enjoy a 2-mile, paved trail walk at Eastway Regional Recreation Center – or join virtually from anywhere! The event welcomes participants of all abilities and raises critical support for programs that improve independence, mobility, and quality of life. All are welcome! Volunteer walking guides will be available. Let’s come together for inclusion, community, and a great cause. We can’t wait to walk with you!

Proceeds from the 2025 Braille Trail Walk for Independence supports the mission of Lions Services: Empowering people who are blind to achieve personal and economic independence by providing them with vocational rehabilitation and employment opportunities. Our Goal is to raise $75,000, your presence and support will make all the difference. Join us to support and build a brighter future for the visually impaired and blind community. Let's raise awareness and funds to sustain and expand jobs, assistive technology training, and wellness programs at Lions Services for greater INCLUSION!

PACKET PICK UP: Friday, October 3, 2025 from 9am- 3pm at Lions Services. 4600 North Tryon Street. Charlotte NC 28213 or pick up the morning of at the walk.
PARKING: Eastway Recreation Center has plenty of free parking for guests.
