Bivanna trail extravaganza

It's the Rivanna Trail loop twice: a warm-up loop and then the main act! 

If for some bizarre reason 40 miles on foot is unappealing to you, come run one loop, half of a loop, or bike two loops! 

• We will start promptly at 8:00 am. There will be a 10-hour cutoff — if you haven't finished by 6:00 pm, you will be considered a DNF.
  • All cyclists will be given a 5-minute head start on the 40- and 20-mile runners.
  • 10-mile runners: we are going to shuttle you to the 10-mile mark so you can finish at Riverview! You will likely start sometime around 8:30. 
• The event will depart counterclockwise from the Riverview Park RTF trailhead to start. There will be one aid station at the 10-mile mark (Fontaine Avenue crossing) with water, Gatorade, and limited first aid supplies. 
• This is a fun run/ride, not a race. All finishers will be recognized via digital publication on the results page! We will operate on an honor system regarding finishers, but if you would like to send a .gpx file or link to your Strava/Garmin file so that we can include it as part of your result, we would happily do so!
• There will be a brief announcement 15 minutes before the start of the event.
