13th annual 9-11 Hero Run

Come join us in honoring the victims of the 9/11/2001 attacks by helping raise money for first responders and military veterans. This is the 13th year of this successful fun family event, organized by the Delhi Twp. Fire Dept., Ingham County Sheriff’s Office, and The American Legion Post 238 and supported by local businesses and YOU!

Pricing: $30 through September 1st (includes T-shirt), then $35 (T-shirt available as supplies last).

Course: Race starts at Delhi Fire Dept., south on Aurelius, thru subdivision and finish in Holt Plaza at the 9-11 Memorial.

EARLY PACKET / BIB / SHIRT PICKUP*NEW THIS YEAR (FIRE DEPT OFFICE IS CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION!)

          Wed 9/10 5pm-7pm:

           Delhi Memorial Gardens, best accessed from big Township parking lot at 2074 Aurelius Rd   

           Thursday 9/11 (RACE DAY!) 4pm-6:20pm at:

           Delhi Fire Deparment – front parking lot, visible from Aurelius Rd, just north of the firetruck's driveway.

Race day entry is $35 and additional shirts are $20 (as supplies last), both CASH ONLY.

Race starts at 6:30 pm.  6pm Remembrance Presentation by Fire Chief Brian Ball at the Delhi Fire Dept bay, 2074 Aurelius Rd. 

Participants registering through Sept 1st are guaranteed a T-shirt, then supplies available until exhausted. 

Awards: Award to overall and master winner. Gold, silver, and bronze medals to 3 fastest runners in age groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted live during the race and on this website.
