Once again this year’s Doylestown Jingle Bell Turkey Trot beneficiary will be
Bucks County Opportunity Council!

RACE DAY (11/30) DETAILS:

(Race Day Packet Pick-Up 8:30-9:30)
Again, if you are not able to make it to packet pick-up on Saturday, you are welcome to pick your packets up on race day.

Packet Pick-Up will be announced the week of 11/23:
~Packet Pick-up is NOT mandatory although it is strongly encouraged as to avoid long lines on race morning.
~You can pick-up packets for your friends…just know their full name.

(registration closes promptly at 9:45)

Pre-Race Announcements: 9:45.
National Anthem: 9:55
Li'l Elves Kids' Run starts @ 10:00
10k starts @ 10:10
5k starts @ 10:20
2 Mile FUN Run/Walk starts @ 10:25

The  After Party:
Let the party begin after you cross the finish line and collect your much deserved finisher's medal!
Plan on sticking around for some good music from DJ Dave, costume contest, hot chocolate, food, beer (21+ only), a ROCKIN' awards ceremony.

AWARDS: 
Awards given for 10K & 5k only, Kids Run & FUN RUN are for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category:
NEW: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, (new age group: 80-89). No mailing of awards or shirts.
Again, no mailing of awards or pullovers. You MUST pick up your award before you leave.  If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and it will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards. 
Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose a pullover BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us 24 hours BEFORE RACE DAY (we CANNOT make any changes with your registration within 24hrs of the race…we are simply too busy setting up at that time) and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved pullover for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail your pullover!

 
IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING WEATHER: 
This event is a rain/shine event. 
This means that if it rains (and as long as the temperature isn’t low enough to freeze any surfaces), this event IS A GO…even in the rain….”skin is waterproof😀” 
In the event that we experience bad weather such as snow or ice or any weather that would cause the course to be unsafe, we will cancel the event. 
There will be no refunds due to the fact that at this point all of the expenses for a race of this magnitude have been paid for. 
 (medal & pullover) will be able to be picked-up a yet to be determined SWAG pick up.
NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits for any reason. We have the right to revise or cancel the race due to emergency or weather issue….(but we really hope this doesn't happen:-)
