A Race Rooted in Friendship & Community
Before Shoes & Brews opened its doors, we dreamed of pairing running with local beer. Left Hand Brewing said yes to our very first run club — and even covered the beer tab! That moment kicked off a decade-long friendship, countless miles, and one of our favorite traditions: the Sole Mates 5K.

We’ve packed all our favorite things into one day:

Race Day Schedule
Elite Wave – 9:30 AM
• Sub-22 min 5K pace
• Prizes: Win overall male or femal and you walk away with — Your weight in beer from Left Hand Brewing!!
Open Wave – 10:00 AM
• All paces, walkers, pups, and strollers welcome
• Prizes: Saucony running shoes for male & female winners
Age Group Awards – Growlers & crowlers for 1st & 2nd place in each category, combined heats.

Get race-ready for the 2025 Sole Mates 5K with our fun, community-driven 8-week training program!
From Sept 8 – Oct 27, USAT/NCSF certified Coach Allison will lead weekly Monday night sessions at Shoes & Brews, plus provide a personalized plan, encouragement, and a discounted race entry. All ages and paces welcome—whether you walk, jog, or run, we’ll cross the finish line together!
