Women’s Distance Festival 5K Run/Walk

The RRCA created the Women's Distance Festival series in 1980.  The first events were held on July 30th to coincide with the men's marathon at the Moscow Olympics.  The purpose was to draw attention to the difference in running events for men and women at the Olympics.  Many local events are still held across the country to remind us of how far the sport has come in the ensuing years.
This is the 46th annual Toledo Roadrunner's running of this event.  TRRC members receive a disount at registration – join when registering to receive that perk of membership! 
All entrants will receive a "goodie bag" with a cosmetic bag and matching compact mirror with a inspirational message.  
Awards are given to the first overall and master runner, top three in age groups and top three teams in each of the mother/daughter groups. (Participants must choose to be an individual or part of a team when entering.) We also give a youngest and oldest finisher award!    The first 10 women to finish in a dress or skirt win special prizes! All entrants are entered into our raffle drawing.
