This year, we’re honored to introduce the Cathy Nielsen Walk & Talk, carrying forward the tradition of our former Wig Walk under a new name that holds deep meaning. Cathy, the beloved sister of our founder, was a fierce supporter of Wings of Hope and our mission. Though she passed away after her own battle with cancer, her spirit of walking, connection, and community lives on through this event.
Funds raised from the Walk & Talk will support our Care Partner programming, recognizing and uplifting the care partners who walk alongside their loved ones every step of the way. Because at Wings of Hope, we know healing is never a journey taken alone.
Choose from 1-mile or 3-mile routes. It's the perfect way to spend a morning with family and friends while helping those on the cancer journey in our communities. Pets welcome! Registration is from 9:00 to 9:30am, followed by the walks.
