The First Annual Augusta Turkey Trot – Trot It Like It’s Hot!
100% of race proceeds will go to benefit Ignite Augusta. Ignite Augusta is a non-profit created to provide a drive through light display in Garvin Park of Augusta, KS.
The following will not be allowed on the courses at any time:
Bicycles
Roller Skates/Blades
Skateboards
Animals
Segways
The race is chip timed and so your time will start when you cross the starting line. T-shirt is included with registration.
Be sure to wear your bib on your chest on the outermost layer of clothing to ensure the most accurate time possible.
Please run safely, listen to the directions of course marshals and police, thank the volunteers, and have fun! The course will be marked with directional arrows and cones at the turns. There will be volunteers along the course.
At the finish, be sure to smile, cheer for yourself and everyone around you, and enjoy the morning! There will be a photographer at the finish line to capture your accomplishment. GoAugusta! will also be hosting their annual Cookie Crawl at 10am so be sure to stick around and enjoy the treats and fun!
