    Step Up for Trail Lands — Get Ready to Move—Trail-A-Thon Is Back!

    This October, hit the trail for the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference's annual Trail-A-Thon—a month-long adventure to celebrate the outdoors and power the future of trail stewardship!

    Whether you're a hiker, runner, biker, or neighborhood stroller, Trail-A-Thon is for YOU. Set your own mileage goal and raise funds* for the trail lands you love! Log your miles anywhere—on your favorite forest path, city streets, or even a treadmill. 

    For over a decade, our Conservation Corps—once powered by AmeriCorps—has built and maintained trails, restored habitats, and mentored future environmental leaders. After the sudden loss of federal funding, we’ve acted fast to keep this work going—and with every step, stride, or spin during the month of October can help sustain its future.

    *Trail-A-Thon participants commit to a minimum fundraising goal of $100, which can be raised throughout the 4-week challenge. If the goal isn’t met by October 31, participants will be responsible for the remaining balance. Credit cards won’t be charged until November 1.
