Tionesta Lions Club “AMERICA 250” 5K

 
🗽🎇  WHAT:  The inaugural Tionesta Lions Club America 250 5K
5K Run & 5K Walk divisions. Walkers will start a couple minutes after the runners.
 
📍🗺️  WHERE:  Race will Start and Finish at the Tionesta Lighthouse. 
Race begins at the 22.5 acre Lighthouse Island on the Allegheny River in Tionesta, PA.  This is the location of the Sherman Memorial Lighthouse.  Portions of the course will involve town streets that will not be closed to traffic but will be monitored by the Sheriff’s Office and race volunteers.  The course will be two loops around the lighthouse path and out on the residential roads to the riverside cemetery and back to the lighthouse to finish.
All profits, after expenses, will be given back to the community through Lion's Club projects!!
 
⏰📆  WHEN:  9:00 Saturday, July 11th
 
🥤🍫  REFRESHMENTS:  water and snacks after the race.
 
👕👕  RACE SHIRTS:   must be ordered by June 1; no shirts after this date. (shirt pic below)

5K Run
Overall – Top 3, Male & Female
Age Groups – Top 1, Male & Female (1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
 
5K Walk
Overall – Top 3, Male & Female
Age Groups – Top 1, Male & Female (1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
 
🏃‍♂️ No duplicate awards.
🏃‍♂️ Winners must complete the race under their own power.
🏃‍♂️ Awards will not be mailed. Winners must be present.
🏃‍♂️ Age Groups will be finalized two weeks before the race based on who signs up by that time.
 
📝📝 RACE RULES & INFO:
 
➡️ Please, no unsupervised children are to be dropped off at the race event. 
➡️ No pets in the race please.
➡️ No smoking, alcohol or drug use  permitted.
