Rekindle’s Inaugural Walk for Unity

In a time of growing hate and division, join Rekindle for our first-ever Walk for Unity—a one-mile walk and 5K race that turns hope into movement. This is more than a finish line: it’s a public, joyful statement that we choose relationship, courage, and community over polarization and dissension. Rekindle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit co-founded and co-led by Black and Jewish leaders, built to strengthen trust across difference through open dialogue and face-to-face connection.  From our base in Cleveland, our work has reached 20+ cities nationwide, with Fellows reporting measurable growth in their readiness to address hate and build bridges in real life.
Whether you’re walking with your family, running with friends, or showing up with your congregation, workplace, or neighborhood group, you’ll be part of something momentous: Cleveland’s community coming together across lines of race and faith—visible, united, and moving forward together.

Parking closest to the park will be available in the Case Western surface lot (pay to park using the QR code posted on signs throughout the lot – $1/hour) off of Mt. Sinai Dr. between Ansel and East 105th St. The location can be found HERE. The start/finish line is a few minute walk down the hill.
