The Ty Five 5K – Rogersville, Tennessee
Join us for the inaugural Ty Five 5K in historic downtown Rogersville, Tennessee—a heartfelt tribute in memory of Tyson Emmitt Gibson. Set against the backdrop of beautiful Rogersville, this 5K course offers a welcoming and scenic route for all ages and skill levels. Participants will begin at East Rogersville Baptist Church, follow East Main Street through downtown, turn left onto South Armstrong, and then make their way onto West McKinney Avenue before returning to the finish at the church.
Packet Pick up on day of race starting at 6:30am- 7:45 am. Please try to arrive as early as possible to make sure you get your packet and are ready for the race. T-shirt Size availability not guaranteed after 08/22/25.
5k Race starts at 8 am.
Parking is available in front of East Rogersville Baptist Church, across the street at Hawkins Elementary, and down the road at Rogersville Middle School. Just be cautious with crossing traffic.

About Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep
Proceeds from the Ty Five 5K will go directly to the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) Foundation. NILMDTS is a nonprofit dedicated to providing parents enduring the heartbreaking loss of a stillborn or infant child with free, professional portrait photography. These tender images serve as a cherished keepsake and a gentle way to honor the brief, yet profound, life of their child. By supporting this race, you help give the priceless gift of remembrance to grieving families and ensure that every baby’s story is beautifully and respectfully preserved.
