Ready for takeoff! Downtown Perrysburg Inc. is thrilled to once again host the Take Flight Kids Dash, a free Winterfest favorite for children ages 2–10.
Inspired by Perrysburg’s iconic airplane sculpture, this joyful dash is all about fun, imagination, and letting kids move—not about who finishes first. It’s also the perfect way for little ones to burn off some extra energy after enjoying hot cocoa and s’mores at Winterfest.
The race will take place on E. Second street between Louisiana and Elm (across the street from the tent). Thr road closure will begin at 1:30pm. Look for the Daves Running arch shortly after to start gathering and stretching. The race will lift off Saturday at 2:00 p.m., with children divided into age groups and our youngest flyers heading out first.
Every participant will receive an airplane kit to build, play, and Take Flight into the year ahead.
Pre-registration is required for all racers.
