Join us for a lighthearted Halloween-themed 5K and 1 Mile run/walk that mixes costumes, candy, and a little movement for all ages, where the path is sprinkled with trick-or-treat stops along the way.
Our event is dedicated to bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together to celebrate health, wellness, and community spirit with a Halloween twist. By offering this fun, family friendly event at no cost, we strive to make fitness and connection accessible to everyone, regardless of financial means. This event is supported by the generous donations of the many members of Wilmington Road Runners Club, and various other organizations and members of our community to help us create an inclusive, uplifting experience where neighbors can run, walk, and cheer side by side while building a stronger, healthier community one step at a time.
Following the race events, there will be an award ceremony for the 5K finishers and a costume contest for anyone who would like to participate.
Strollers are allowed on the course, but please keep them as close as possible to the left edge of the path to avoid accidents with other participants.
Pets and/or animals of any kind whether leashed or unleashed are NOT allowed at the event at any time for the safety of everyone involved.
