Sickle Cell Warrior Walk & Run 5K

Breaking The Sickle Cell Cycle Foundation, Inc. cordially invites you to the 6th Annual Sickle Cell Warrior Walk/Run 5K!  The Sickle Cell Warrior Walk/Run 5K is an inspiring, family-friendly event to unite the Nashville community and surrounding areas in bringing awareness to sickle cell disease and to create long-lasting relationships to help support members of the sickle cell community.  Sickle cell disease is a painful genetic blood disorder that is known to disproportionately impact minority populations, but any person can have sickle cell disease or carry the trait that is responsible for causing the disease. The goal of this event is to increase community awareness of sickle cell disease and empower individuals to make informed healthcare and family planning decisions.  The Time is NOW to get involved and help break the cycle of sickle cell disease!
The race will be held on September 26, 2026 at the beautiful Hartman Park. 5K participants will begin the race at 9 AM, followed by the 1 Mile at 9:05 AM. 
All participants must complete the course by 10:00 AM.  
Hang out and celebrate with us at the Post Race party where we'll have refreshments while we cheer and then our awards ceremony at 10:15 AM
Commemorative race medal & T-shirt are available for paid registrants who sign up by August 29th, 2026.

Overall:

1st Place Overall (Male & Female) $150
2nd Place Overall (Male & Female) $100
3rd Place Overall (Male & Female) $50
