Race Overview:
All proceeds from this event benefit Project Seek Sickle Cell program and initiatives. Providing community support, resources and social activities to individuals and families living with sickle cell disease.
Race Description: The race will start and finish at the Downtown Airport.
Start times:
Fun Run @ 3:45 p.m.
5K @ 4:00 p.m.
Entry Fee: Fun Run $10 – ages 10 & under
5K Registration $25
Co-Pilot (no running involved) $20
Registration: Every participant who registers by September 15th will receive an official Sickle Cell Takes Flight T-shirt with their race packet. Registrations received after this date cannot be guaranteed a shirt.
Packet pick-up: Packet pick-up will take place at Sportspectrum on Thursday, Sept. 25th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Race Day at the race site starting at 3:00 p.m.
Co-Pilot: Want to support Project Seek but not up for running the 5K? Sign up as a Co-Pilot! You’ll receive the official Sickle Cell Takes Flight T-shirt and help Project Seek mission to empower—no running shoes required.
Awards: Awards will be presented in overall male and female winners. 1st place male & female in each age group will receive an award. Age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
