The Sandwich Fair Association is thrilled to announce the second annual Shake Up Shuffle on Labor Day, September 1, 2025.
The Shake Up Shuffle will again host two race routes to choose from and special child pricing.
With improvements to our start and finish line areas, each race will start on our infield track, wind through our iconic grounds, and finish back on the infield, where participants will enjoy music, games, business appearances, and additional surprises.
Following the race, Shake Up Shuffle participants will receive top finisher awards, complimentary refreshments, and an ICE COLD lemonade shake up from McKinney's Concessions.
Participants will also receive a Shake Up Shuffle shirt, a timed race bib, and a SPINNING COW FINISHERS MEDAL. Full route participants will furthermore receive A FIVE DAY SANDWICH FAIR SEASON PASS.
But wait, there’s MORE.
We will AGAIN be handing out Shake Up Shuffle swag bags to the first two hundred registrations, aged six and older.
PLUS, register for our full route at a discounted rate until May 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST.
Whether you run it, walk it, shake it, or shuffle it, we just can't wait to see you there.
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN on May 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM CST.
All proceeds from the 2025 Shake Up Shuffle will benefit the DeKalb County Community Fund.

LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE OFFERED IN 2025.
TO GUARANTEE YOUR SHAKE UP SHUFFLE SHIRT, please register PRIOR TO July 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM CST.
PACKET PICKUP will be offered on Saturday, August 30, 2025 AND on race morning, Monday, September 1, 2025. See below for additional details.
Event Schedule
Pre Race Packet Pickup will be offered on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at The Sandwich Moose Lodge in Sandwich, Illinois.
Pre Race Packet Pickup is located at 1002 East Church Street, Sandwich, IL 60548.
Race Day Packet Pickup begins at 7:30 AM on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025 in the infield, near the inflatable start and finish line, and continues until race start.
Parking will be located in our parking lot near the infield track. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ENTER FROM OUR SUYDAM ROAD ENTRANCE ONLY. OUR PRATT ROAD ENTRANCE WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE ENTIRE EVENT AS IT IS A PART OF OUR RACE COURSE.
Follow directional signage to parking near the infield track upon arrival.
Bag check will additionally be available during this time, located directly next to Race Day Packet Pickup.
