Run The Green Wave 5k

On Saturday August 8th, 2026 the Run the Green Wave 5k will be held at Easley High School in Easley, SC. This 5k will be very unique in that it will be held on the Easley cross country course. It is on mostly grass with a few pavement crossings, with a fast finish on the Track. The entire community is welcome to attend this fun event! There will be award winners, music, and door prizes for all contestants.
There will also be a Run the Green Wave Kid's Mile before the 5k. This Green Wave Mile is intended for children 6th grade and below.

Run the Green Wave Mile: 7:10 AM
Run the Green Wave 5k: 7:30 AM 

Registration:

$10 for Green Wave Mile
$25 for Green Wave 5k

Everyone who enters before July 26th, 2026 at 11:59 PM will be guaranteed a t-shirt. 
All proceeds go to the entire Cross Country & Track program at Easley High School
You will be able to register online until August 8th (7:10 AM). This 5k is OPEN to the entire community. ALL ages welcome. This will not be a sanctioned High School meet; however, teams are welcome to come. Registration includes a t-shirt along with other items from various vendors
 
Green Wave Mile

Starts: 7:10 AM
Age Group

0-10 *** cutoff will be 6th grade. If you want to run the 5k, make sure you sign up specifically for the 5k

Awards: All participants in the Green Wave Mile will receive a finishers medal

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Easley High School Main Office (outside)
