Polish Independence Run

Polish Independence 10K/5K Run/Walk is a race celebrating Poland’s return as an independent country on November 11th, 1918. With a long tradition in Poland, the run has been organized annually in Chicago since 2018 by WPNA 103.1 FM, Polish American Mix. Polish Independence Run’s USATF-certified, chip-timed course runs along the beautiful Lake Michigan starting at Montrose Harbor. All participants receive a custom finisher’s medal, event T-shirt and lunch. All ages.
Radio 103.1 FM zaprasza na Bieg Niepodległości 2025! Organizowany od 2018 r. Bieg Niepodległości to okazja do uczczenia na sportowo rocznicy odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości. Dwa dystanse do wyboru: bieg na 10 km oraz bieg lub marsz na 5 km. Trasa przy jeziorze Michigan zaczyna się na Montrose Harbor. Każdy uczestnik Biegu otrzymuje koszulkę i medal za pokonanie trasy. Po biegu wspólny lunch. Dołącz do nas!

Chip Timing:The 10K and 5K races are chip timed. The 5K walk is not timed. Chips are attached to the race bibs and are disposable. Chip timing is not guaranteed for race day registrants.
