A 5K Run/Walk to help bring awareness and raise funds for continued research for PCOS. PCOS is a serious genetic, hormone, metabolic and reproductive disorder that affects women and girls. It is the leading cause of female infertility and a precursor for other serious conditions including obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and endometrial cancer. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome affects 1 in 10 women. 50-70% of women with PCOS are going undiagnoised or misdiagnosed.
