What It Means to Be a Captain
Our Captains are athletes who lead by example, showing courage, determination, and the spirit of inclusion. As a Captain, you’ll participate in our events, partnered with our Angel volunteers, who will guide and support you throughout the race. Together, you’ll experience the thrill of crossing the finish line, creating unforgettable memories.
No Fees, Just Opportunity
There is no cost to becoming a Captain. While we encourage fundraising to support our mission, your primary role is to be part of our inclusive community and enjoy the experience. Your participation is a gift to us and to everyone who witnesses your journey.
What You’ll Receive
Captain Shirt: You’ll receive a Captain shirt to wear proudly during events.
Free Use of Adaptive Equipment: We provide all necessary adaptive equipment at no charge, ensuring you have the tools you need to succeed.
Bonding and Camaraderie: Being a Captain means building strong, family-like bonds with your Angels and volunteers. You’ll find a supportive community ready to cheer you on every step of the way.

Your safety, health, and comfort are our top priorities. We welcome Captains of all ages, genders, and varying disabilities. During registration, we’ll gather important information about your health history and any specific needs you may have, allowing us to tailor your race day experience to be as enjoyable and safe as possible.
