MileBuilt Turkey Lake 2-Day Challenge Race Details
The latest details from your Race Directors:
THE RACE
The MileBuilt 2-Day Challenge runs the internal asphalt course at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in Orlando, FL, on April 3–4, 2027. Sand pine scrub, live oak, and cypress line the shore. Every repeat passes the pavilions, the water, and Southlake Overlook. The course stays inside the park's single gate — park and emergency vehicles still use internal roads, with one staffed crossing. Camp on-site and your start line is a walk from your tent.
Five distances: 5K · 10K · Half Marathon · Marathon · 50K. Race one day or both — every distance runs each day.
START TIMES6:30 AM — Marathon and 50K6:40 AM — Half Marathon7:30 AM — 5K and 10K
RACE DAY CUTOFF3:30 PM. This applies to the full race day — not per distance. Runners still on course after the cutoff will be directed off course.
PARKINGEnter Bill Frederick Park at 3401 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando. Parking is in Lot 1 and other designated areas — follow on-site signage.
CAMPINGRV, cabin, and tent camping put you inside the venue for the full Challenge. Reserved directly through the park, not race registration — sites are shared with the public and fill fast.
AID STATIONCupless event. Carry your own fluids — handheld bottle, vest, or waist pack. MileBuilt provides water, electrolyte drink, and basic snacks at Pavilions 1–2. Don't rely on it as your full nutrition plan for longer distances or multi-day participation.
BIB PICKUPAvailable on race day beginning one hour before your scheduled start time — honor system, no ID required. A friend may pick up on your behalf. No bib transfers.
BARE-BONES EVENTNo shirts. No race bags. No expo.
FINISHNot chip timed. Cross the line, strike the GONG, then Clock Out at the MileBuilt Time Clock. Times are verified by the Race Director before results post. Clock Out is required for an official finish.
