We’re excited to continue growing the impact of Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP). Our mission is to end and prevent child abuse and neglect in Montgomery County through legal services, advocacy, and education. We’re thrilled to announce our third annual MCAP Heroes on the Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Walk, taking place at Norristown Farm Park on Saturday, May 2, 2026. We’re expecting more than 200 runners and walkers for this family-friendly event, which will feature breakfast, face painting, giveaway music, and more!
For the past 22 years, MCAP has been a lifeline for more than 11,600 children impacted by abuse, neglect, and trafficking maintaining a 100% acceptance rate so that every child referred to us receives representation. Each child is paired with a dedicated attorney who ensures their voice is heard in the legal system. In addition to providing direct legal services, we offer education and advocacy programs that raise awareness and strengthen prevention efforts throughout the community.
