The DSF Athletic Booster Club presents The Maverick Miles! The Maverick Miles includes a 5K, 1 mile Fun Run and, new this year: an Anything-But-a-Baton Relay. This is an annual fundraiser to benefit the athletic programs at Douglas Freeman High School. All parts of the race are open to everyone, including community members. The Fun Run will begin at 9am on the track at Freeman followed by the 5K and then the Anything-But-a-Baton Relay. All proceeds from the race directly fund student athletic needs such as facilities, equipment, and uniforms.
