Join the fun Sunday, May 3, 2026. Gather with your friends, neighbors, and family for a run or walk featuring beautiful Candler Park neighborhood streets and the Freedom Park Path. All proceeds from the event benefit the Mary Lin Elementary PTA.
START/FINISH LOCATION
- The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run start and finish at Mary Lin Elementary School (586 Candler Park Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30307).
COURSE INFORMATION
Course time limit:
- 5K – 59 minutes (19 minute/mile pace)
- Fun Run – 30 minutes (30 minutes/mile)
5K Age Guidelines
- 5K participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by parent or other responsible adult while on the course
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE AT ANY TIME

- Limited Edition 2026 Rocket Run Shirts available to participants who register prior to April 17th (T-shirt availability and sizing are not guaranteed for participants registering after April 17th)
- Family friendly start time – 5K – 8:00 AM, 1 Mile – 9:00 AM

- AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier

- 7:00 AM – Race Day Number Pick-Up & Registration opens
- 8:45 AM – Race Day Number Pick-up & Registration closes
- 8:00 AM – Rocket Run 5K start
- 9:00 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run start
- 9:30 AM – 5K Awards
