Ocotillo ATV & Palm Canyon Campground (about a 2-hour drive from Coronado)
Listen to nearby coyotes while sleeping under the stars. Anza Borrego desert state park is the perfect place to ride ATV’s and explore one of southern California’s best kept secrets. This trip includes basic meals, camping gear, ATV excursion, transportation, and guided hike.
DAY 1: will depart for ATV tours in Ocotillo, CA at 0800 AM from NAB Liberty and 0830 AM from NASNI Liberty Centers. arrive at Ocotillo, CA and start our two-hour ATV tour. Drive to campground through the Anza Borrego desert state park towards our final campground at Palm canyon. set up camp, visit the visitors center and town, bonfire, dinner, refreshments and Games
DAY 2: Guided hike through the palm canyon trail, experience photo ops sightseeing, sand sledding, before leaving the area, drive through Julian for apple pie and then back to San Diego.
Packing list will be provided before departure date. please pack in layers to stay warm! as this time of year can be freezing at night.
Camping equipment, food, experience, and transportation provided.
