    Race Overview:

    The fun and challenging trails of the Iola Winter Sports Club await you for the Norseman Challenge.   The event features both adutls and youth races.  The adults have the option of either classic or freestyle races or even both.   

    Schedule
    • 9:15 am:- Adult 10k Classic
    • 10:15 am – Boys MS Freestyle 3.5K
    • 10:35 am – Girls MS Freestyle  3.5k
    • 11:05 am – Boys HS Freestyle 5.5k
    • 11:30 am – Girls HS Freestyle 5.5k
    • 12:15 pm – Adult 20K Freestyle
    • 1:30 pm – Free Kids race 1k

    Times and distances subject to change based on conditions.  

    Awards
    • 10K Classic – Top 3 overall, male and female
    • 20k Freestyle – Top 3 by age category*
    • HS and MS Races – Top 3 by gender and awards to top 3 teams.  

    * 20k Age Groups:   <25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56+
