The Hinchee Trail Summer Series is hosted by Death to Tyrants Trail Running.
Join us for this fun-run series, and try to beat your time from the first run to the second. The course is an out-and-back on Hinchee Trail. Runners and walkers will travel uphill 2 miles, turn around at the markings, and descend the mountain to the finish. The surface is gravel, and the road is wide enough for runners to pass each other easily going both directions.
This is a laid-back, fun run style event for the community to kick off training for fall races. Cost is $10 for one or $18 for both runs. There will not be t-shirts, bibs, metals, or chip timing… maybe some basic swag like stickers, shades, and former race tees (but not socks) tossed into the crowd, parade-style.
We will have a few water coolers at the finish line.
Don't forget to check out Sycamore Station for delicious coffee, treats, and local handmade goods after the run!

Parking: There are spots at Hanging Rock Battlefield Monument and in the wood-chipped areas. Please be respectful of private property, etc., when parking along Dutch Oven Rd.)
DATES & TIMES: August 16 & August 30, 2025 at 8:00am
CAP: There will be a 50-runner cap on each event. Small scale is our jam for this one. There is race day registration online until 7:45am.
PERSONALITY TYPE: A lot of positivity and encouragement (maybe some Type B people having Type 2 fun.) You know, the backwards-hat-positivity type.
