The GASP is back!
Originally created in the late 1970s by a group of cyclists who shared a love of long rides and great Texas beer, the GASP became a beloved Texas cycling tradition. Now it returns as the Greater Area Shiner Pedal.
The Greater Area Shiner Pedal (GASP) is a ride, not a race, built for cyclists who want to enjoy the open roads, the charm of small-town Shiner, and the camaraderie that makes great rides memorable.
Participants can choose from three distances: 100 miles, 50 miles, or 25 miles, making it perfect for seasoned riders and casual cyclists alike.
Whether you’re chasing the full century or just enjoying a relaxed ride with friends, the Greater Area Shiner Pedal is all about great roads, great people, and a great day on the bike.
Join us in Shiner and be part of the return of a Texas classic.
