Goslings and Hamilton Princess present Rum to the Beach!
This event is the traditional kick-off event of the New Year
The Rum to Beach Race includes a running event, a competitive walking category and a Non Competitive Run/Walk. All are 7.13 miles in distance.
SUNDAY 11th JANUARY 2026 @ 8:30am
CATEGORIES and PRIZES:
- 1st Princess Employee and Goslings Employee in the running division.
- 1st Male & Female Overall Runner.
- 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female in age group open category 16-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ & 1st 70+ Male & Female.
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female Walker.
Entry Fee: Runners and Walkers
$30 Current MAAC Members, $35 All Others, $40 Late Entries, $8 for Gold Members of MAAC. (For Competitive events, the entry fee automatically includes $8 per entry as your mandatory registration with the BNAA)
Note: MAAC Gold discount does not include any late signup fees which start after midnight on Friday.

Race Numbers will be distributed prior to race day at Goslings shop and warehouse on Dundonald St. on Friday January 9 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
Courtesy of Goslings, there will be a wine tasting at Number Pick Up
Light refreshments at the finish for participants ONLY.

- Please do not bring dogs to the Start/Finish Area in the interest of other participants.
- NO STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS EVENT.
