Lace up your shoes and bundle up for warmth for our inaugural 5K Gobble-Gobble Turkey Run and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on the beautiful campuses of Habersham Central HIgh School and Habersham Ninth Grade Academy. This event offers two race options: 5K Race – perfect for runners looking for a challenging course and a One Mile Fun Run/Walk for families, walkers, and younger participants. Come run, walk, or cheer – it’s a great way to support your family and friends and help support our many community charity programs.
Parking is available in front of the High School. Packet Pick-Up and Starting Point will be in the southeast parking lot under the awning of the vocational wing. The starting time will be 9:30 AM for the 5K race and 10:00 AM for the fun run/walk. Twenty-two Medals will be awarded: overall TOP Five finishers, with additional medals for the TOP 3 Runners in each age bracket: Ages 15-25 Male & Female; Ages 26-35 Male & Female; Ages 36-59 Male & Female; Ages 60 & Up Male and Female.
Other medals for the appropriate Best Costume and the Longest Distance traveled to get to our Turkey Run.
All paid participants will receive a “limited edition” Gobble Gobble long-sleeve t-shirt
