Community Free Clinic Spirit of America 5 miler and Fun Run

5 Mile starts at 7am, Fun Run at approximately 8:10am
Register early to guarantee shirt size. If extra t-shirts are available they will be for sale for $10 after the awards.

Friday evening packet pickup and registration ($35-5 Mile) 5-6:30pm at Crossed Eyed Owl Pub 105 1st Av NE Decatur, AL 35601.
Race day sign-up ($40-5 Mile) & Packet pick-up will be from 6am to 6:45 at the small pavilion trailhead by the pickleball building.
5 mile course will start on the road in front of the parking lot where TC Almon was, then circle the Spirit Field on the paved trail, then follow the service road along the golf course to the northwest trailhead and run the trail back to the small pavilion at the trailhead near the new pickle ball building.  There will be one water station that runners will pass by twice. (2.4 miles of paved road and 2.6 miles of firm crushed gravel trail)
The 5 mile will be a chip timed race, timing chip ring will be attached to your bib. Bibs must be worn on the lower front of your body. Awards: Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female. Age group awards as follows: Male and Female, 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and above.
The Fun run is a loop on the park road and trail. The Fun Run is not chip timed. No Awards.
Please park in the water park lot or spots along the Spirit Field. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT BETWEEN THE PICKLE BALL BUILDING AND THE EVENT CENTER.
