Welcome to the 8th Annual BJFR!!! 🥳🏃♀️🏃♂️
Created by friends for friends, the annual 9.06K Bootjack Fun Run is a 'move at your own pace' run/walk geared towards all ages and abilities. This is a dog-friendly event for friendly dogs, with leashes, please.
Race day is Saturday, August 8th, 2026 (2nd Sat in Aug).

0.906k Supermini (.56 mi that you can run, walk or gallop – for kids and kids at heart!) 😀
The race will start and end at the Dreamland Restaurant & Bar. The course is 9.06 kilometers (approx. 5.64 miles) and is situated on the wooded, paved road along beautiful Portage Lake in Lake Linden, MI. All proceeds will be donated to the Bootjack First Responders. This is a rain or shine event and refunds will not be permitted. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, shirts will be available at the Dreamland Restaurant until September 4, 2026, and all proceeds will still be donated to the Bootjack First Responders. Registration is open. T-shirts are guaranteed only to those who register online by July 20, 2026.

Pre-registration available in person at the Dreamland Restaurant on Friday, August 7 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
Same day registration at the Dreamland starting at 8:00 am.
*Note-T-shirts are only guaranteed to those that register by July 20, 2026. (We will have a limited supply of extra shirts, first come first serve)
