The 1 mile and the 5k race will be held at Cascade Park, New Castle. We have the 5k starting after the mile. NEW 5K COURSE !! Don and Natascha Cratty will supply coffee and cookies to all runners and walkers. You can even run or walk both !!
Big Run Falls is the name of the waterfalls at Cascade Park. It is beautiful to view in the winter.
This is the first race of the Miles of Smiles race series. Everyone that does the series gets a newly designed black smileymiles jacket. This is a 9 race series and if you can't make one you can sign up virtually and it still counts. Not all the dates have been set yet but here is what we have as far as info.

July 26th – Gosh darn Goddard 5k & 10k Sandy lake
Aug 23rd – Brady's Run Happy 5k & 10k Beaver Falls
Nov – YMCA Turkey Trot 5k & half marathon Kittanning
Dec 20th – Chilly Cheeks Christmas 5k Buhl Park Hermitage
You sign up for each race individually. Every race will have prize money to the overall winners.
