Challenge & Reward:
Get race-ready together with our 🐾Bark & Burn HITT🔥 workout videos, specifically designed to help you & your dog level up for Canine Obstacle Course Racing (OCR). These high-intensity interval training sessions build the strength, speed, endurance, and teamwork you’ll need to be in the front of the pack—while keeping workouts fun, engaging, and dog-safe.
Complete these 5 workout challenges and submit your video proof before April 11-UltiMutt Race Day to receive a custom UltiMutt running belt and water bottle! We will also be acknowledging participants' accomplishments each month in our Facebook Group: UltiMutt Race Training Club.
Purpose:
👉Each workout video combines short bursts of cardio, functional strength, drills, and dog training techniques that mirror real OCR challenges like sprinting, lifting, crawling, jumping, and navigating obstacles as a team. You’ll work on explosive power, grip and core strength, and cardiovascular conditioning, while your dog improves in confidence, coordination, focus, and stamina.
👉Minimal equipment, adaptable difficulty levels, and clear instruction make these workouts suitable for a variety of breeds and fitness backgrounds.

How it Works:
- From January to April, we will issue 1-2 challenges/month, along with a training video from Jamie, UltiMutt Certified Canine Conditioning Coach. To complete the challenge, simply post or email a video of you & your dog successfully completing each challenge.
- Posts should be made, either to the UltiMutt Race Training Club Facebook group, on Instagram tagged @ultimuttrace, or emailed to ultimuttrace@gmail.com with Subject Line: "Bark & Burn."
Bragging Rights & Swag:
Earn an UltiMutt Running Belt with Waterbottle upon completing the challenges! To be awarded at UltiMutt Race (Sport it for bragging rights) or can be mailed to you if won't be at the event.
