Red Bull Quicksand could be the toughest mile you’ve ever run. Set against the stunning backdrop of Virginia Beach’s sandy shores, this event will determine who’s the fastest on the beach through a grueling knockout format with preliminary heats, last chance qualifiers, and finals.
In addition to the challenge of running on sand, the course features giant sand mounds, trenches, and rollers, providing a true test of endurance. Only the strongest will earn the title of "Fastest on the Beach".
New for 2025, Red Bull Quicksand has partnered with GORUCK to take the challenge to the next level. GORUCK Division competitors will face the course while carrying a GORUCK Ruck Plate Carrier + 30lb Plate. These athletes will compete for exclusive prize packages and ultimate bragging rights.
