This spring, the Sport Business Association at Gwynedd Mercy University is turning movement into meaning for the rare disease community.
We are proud to host our inaugural, 100% student-run 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk, supporting Uplifting Athletes and the continued growth of the Sport Business Association. What began as a classroom collaboration has grown into a student-led initiative that uses sport to bring people together and create real impact.
Uplifting Athletes is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit that harnesses the power of sport to support the 30 million Americans living with rare diseases through research funding, family support, and leadership development.
At Gwynedd Mercy, we believe sport is more than competition – it is connection, purpose, and leadership.
All proceeds from this event will support Uplifting Athletes and future initiatives led by the Sport Business Association. Every registration, donation, and stride helps make a difference.
