21st Annual Derby Dash 5K Run/Walk

We appreciate your participation in the past and hope you will join us again this year. This event supports FFLAG initiatives to make Grant County a healthier place to live, work and play.
There will be an after-party post race that will include DOOR PRIZES, RACE AWARDS and REFRESHMENTS for runners and walkers! You must be present to win door prizes. Awards will be given to the division winners and overall winners. At 10:00 a.m. we will also host a FREE kid’s fun run (10 and under) located at the Williamstown City Building.

5K RUN CATEGORIES:
Run Divisions: Male and Female: 14 & under | 15-19 | 20-29 | 30-39| 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70+
Walk Divisions: Male and Female: 14 & under | 15-19 | 20-29 | 30-39| 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70+
* Walkers must walk the entire distance. Any participant who plans on running through any part of the course must register as a runner.
AWARDS: Top 2 overall males and females, runners and walkers. Overall award winners are not eligible for age division awards. Also, the top female/male in each age category win an award. Largest participating group that registered together will win an award.

REGISTRATION FEE:
Pre-registration fees through April 19, 2026 are $18.00 for adults (no shirt), $25.00 for adults (includes shirt) and $10.00 for children 16 years or younger (includes shirt).
Group Rate: Group Rate qualifies as 5 or more adults registering together. ($20 Per Person and includes Shirts). Group rate not available on race day.
In-person, Race Day (May 2) Registration fees are: $25.00 for adults (no shirt) and $15.00 for children 16 years or younger (no shirt). (Day of Registration is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m.) If you plan to register in person on race day, please bring your smartphone to sign up online and a credit or debit card to pay with. We prefer card payment but can accept cash if necessary.
Registration fee includes chip timing, race awards, and refreshments.
REGISTER ONLINE: Online registration is available through April 19, 2026 or race day excluding group rate.
T-SHIRTS: T-shirts sold separately for $15.00 each while supplies last.
POST RACE: Free Kid’s fun run (10 and under) located at the Williamstown City Building.

RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP: Race day packet pick up is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. at the Williamstown City Building.
PETS: No pets allowed on the course.
CHIP TIMING: This year's race will be professionally and accurately "chip-timed" by TimingSpot.com using disposable Bib Tag technology. The chip will be on the bib number. No need to turn in pull tags or return the timing chip.
