The REACH Foundation’s favorite tradition continues! The Shamrock ’n Run 5K & 2K is once again bringing the Placentia-Yorba Linda community together for a festive, fun-filled day in support of our students.
Since 2012, thousands of families have participated in this beloved community event—running, walking, and celebrating together—while helping raise critical funds that directly support enrichment programs and events for PYLUSD students. It’s more than a race; it’s a celebration of community, school spirit, and giving back.
We’re excited to welcome our four-legged friends, too! 🐾 For participants planning to run or walk the 5K or 2K with their dogs, please review the Yorba Regional Park guidelines below to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times while in the park
- Leashes must be no longer than 6 feet
- Leashes must be physical leashes (no e-collars)
- Participants must carry doggie bags and clean up after their pets
- Dogs should be well-socialized and comfortable in a busy race environment with runners, walkers, and spectators
