The Strawberry Festival 5k and 10k are back again for the 2026 Strawberry Festival but in a new location – Duke Park! The Strawberry Classic 5k and 10k runs, and the Strawberry Shortcake 1k are great events on the Saturday morning of the festival.
After the race, runners are rewarded with a well-earned Strawberry donut, one of the staples of the festival. All 5k and 10k runners receive a custom finisher's medal and all shortcake runners earn a ribbon!
Prize Money for the 10k: 1st Place – $100, 2nd Place – $50, 3rd Place – $25 (Male and Female)
Prize Money for the 5k: 1st Place- $50, 2nd Place – $25 (Male and Female)
The race entry for the 5k and 10k is $35 and includes a tech shirt while supplies last.
The race entry for the 1k shortcake run is $10 and all runners will receive a ribbon upon finishing.
The race will start at Duke Park and will be run on the paved trails along the river and around Duke Park.
No processing fees and no taxes. The entry fee is the entry fee.
