Parking for the Wine Lovers 5K is located in a grassy field behind the winery. Due to the snow and current ground conditions, we may need to use one of our scheduled make-up dates (Sunday, February 15 or Saturday, February 21).
With warmer temperatures expected over the next couple of days, there is still a possibility we’ll be able to hold the event this Saturday. However, we will not make a final decision until Thursday or Friday once we’re able to better assess the field conditions. Please make sure you can make both make-up dates, as there are NO REFUNDS.

This year’s Wine Lovers 5K at Cardinal Point Vineyard falls on Saturday, February 14, 2026 — the perfect way to celebrate love and wine! The 5K course starts and finishes at the winery, winding through the quaint country back roads of beautiful Nelson County, VA. Cross the finish line and claim your finisher medal… a glass of award-winning Cardinal Point wine!
Grab your Valentine, family, friends, or gal pals and run (or walk!) for the love of wine. Costumes are encouraged, with prizes for the biggest team and best team costume. Walker, stroller, and Fido-friendly!
