Course starts and finishes in parking lot of Hall High School in Spring Valley, Illinois. Course is an out and back on paved city streets with traffic control at most intersections. . Terrain is mostly flat with series of gentle rolling hills. Course is certified distance. Race is chip timed with race results posted on Starved Rock Runners web site.
Early bird registration is $25.00 if registered by January 1st, 2026, $30.00 on or before March 15th, $35.00 through and including race day. Swag will be a long sleeve race T-shirt. Shirts are only guaranteed to those who pre-register on or before March 1st, 2026.
Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each age bracket, the Overall Male & Female Finishers, & the top male and female finisher from Spring Valley. Age Divisions: (one each for male & female) 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over. There will be no awards ceremony at the race. Once results are determined, awards can be collected, or they will be mailed to participants.
