Kick off your season with a Multisport Mechanics camp designed to sharpen your technique, build your foundation, and set the tone for a strong year ahead.
The C26 Swim + Strength Camp will focus on the two most technical and often most neglected elements of triathlon: swimming and strength training. Over the course of the camp, athletes will spend dedicated time in the pool refining stroke mechanics, improving efficiency, and learning drills and progressions that translate directly to faster, more sustainable swimming.
One of the biggest obstacles to getting into strength is just knowing what to do and how to do it. It's also where you can cause the most damage if you are not doing it right. Combine that with the technical nature of swimming and you can see why they are the two most ignored disciplines in triathlon. There is no better way to set up your season than to master your swim technique and make sure you are moving right in the gym. Stop guessing, stop avoiding, come to camp and leave informed and empowered.
Athletes will take part in guided strength and mobility sessions led by one of the best minds in strength and conditioning, Kory Robertson. These sessions will emphasize proper movement patterns, body awareness, and functional strength, all essential for endurance performance, injury prevention, and overall longevity.
A day at camp will include:
Swim sessions focused on stroke efficiency, balance, and feel for the water.
Strength and mobility sessions to establish proper lifting mechanics and foundational movement.
Optional group runs, weather permitting, for those who want to add aerobic work.
Whether you’re looking to refine your technique, learn how to lift correctly, or simply reset your movement patterns before heavy training begins, this camp is the perfect low-travel, high-value way to do it.
About Coach Robbie: Swim Session Lead
With over 20 years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for helping athletes move more efficiently through the water, Coach Robbie Bruce brings both technical precision and practical teaching to the swim portion of the C26 Swim + Strength Camp.
An accomplished swimmer turned triathlete and coach, Robbie has guided hundreds of athletes from first-time triathletes to Kona qualifiers, professional triathletes, and collegiate swimmers toward faster, more confident, and more efficient swimming. His approach centers on feel for the water, body position, and rhythm, with an emphasis on building technique that holds up under fatigue.
At the C26 Hub, Robbie leads the swim programming and stroke development sessions, using underwater video analysis and individualized feedback to help athletes connect movement, awareness, and speed. His philosophy is simple: better mechanics lead to better performance — and less effort doing it.
Whether you’re working to correct years of ingrained habits or fine-tune already strong form, Coach Robbie’s coaching style makes complex swimming concepts feel simple, repeatable, and actionable.
