Swarthmore’s 2025 Home for the Holidays will kick off with a 1 mile sprint through the town. Dressing up to run in festive gear/apparel is strongly encouraged and adds a great deal of fun to the festivities!!
This race is the kick-off for Swarthmore’s very festive annual event – performances, live music, Park-a-Pub, trolley rides, and caroling. The funds from the race will help support all of the days’ events.
Location: Registration will take place in the Borough parking lot (121 Park Ave.) across the street from the Swarthmore Co-Op, in Swarthmore. Registration Opens at 11:00 am; Race STARTS PROMPTLY at 11:30 AM.
Recognition/Awards: 1st Place Male, 1st Place Female, Top Individual Costume, Top Group Costume

Pricing:
- $28.00 for those 21+
- $12.00 for those ages 6 – 20
- Children Age 5 and under run for free, but need to run with a parent/guardian (they do not need a separate bib or sign up).

Proceeds for the Reindeer Dash benefit Swarthmore Town Center (STC) a nonprofit whose purpose is to promote and plan educational, cultural, or charitable community events within the town center and physically enhance the business district through these events.
